These Terms of Service govern your use of Magister. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Magister is operated as a free tool, and these terms reflect that.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use the service. When accounts are added, you will confirm that you meet this requirement by checking a box at signup.
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non infringement, accuracy, uptime, and availability. Explanations are generated by an automated AI model, may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, and are provided for general educational purposes only, not as professional advice. Your use of the service, and any reliance on its output, is entirely at your own risk.
The code you submit is sent to a third party inference provider (Groq) to generate a response. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not submit any content you are not allowed to share, including confidential, proprietary, or personal information that you lack the right to disclose.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the operator from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense arising from your content, your conduct, or your use of the service. The operator owes you no indemnification of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator total liability to you is zero dollars. This limit applies to all direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, and punitive damages, regardless of the theory of liability and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The operator has no obligation to provide maintenance, upkeep, updates, or support of any kind, and is not responsible for keeping the service available. The service may be offered, changed, or withdrawn at the operator sole discretion.
The operator may modify, suspend, or terminate the service, or any account once accounts are added, at any time, with or without notice, and with no liability to you.
The service is free. No fees are charged for using it, and because no fees are charged, no refunds apply.
Where enforceable, you and the operator agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only, and you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action.
You are responsible for your own content, your conduct, and your compliance with all applicable laws and regulations when using the service.
The operator is not liable for user content, third party services, or external links. Your use of any third party service or link is at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
The failure of the operator to enforce any right or provision of these terms does not waive that right or provision.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other documents referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and the operator and supersede any prior understanding or agreement.
The operator is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside its reasonable control, including acts of nature, outages, network failures, and actions of third party providers.
The operator may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
