This Cookie Policy explains how Magister uses cookies and similar technologies. We keep this simple because we keep our use of cookies to a minimum. If you have questions, you can reach us at privacy@magister.app.
Magister uses only essential cookies. Today the app is stateless and sets no tracking cookies. When user accounts are added, an essential Supabase authentication session cookie will be set to keep you signed in. That cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, and it is not used to track you across other sites.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to Magister. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless, so it sets no analytics cookies and collects no personal identifiers. We cannot use it to identify you individually.
Because Magister uses only essential cookies, no consent banner is required under the GDPR. Essential cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested do not need prior consent, and we set nothing beyond that.
If we ever add tracking or advertising cookies, we will add a consent banner first and ask for your agreement before any non-essential cookie is set. We will also update this page to describe what those cookies do.
